The World Anti-Doping Agency awarded the prestigious 2021 Social Sciences Research Grant to the team of Dr. Jean-François Clément, Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the Charles-LeMoyne Research Center / CR-CSIS. This grant will allow them to carry out the research project entitled: “Do the factors of vulnerability to doping vary according to the team sport practiced? A Canadian clinical study. ” They will investigate the factors that make athletes more vulnerable to doping and the most critical people in the athlete’s career in order to develop avenues for preventive interventions. Véronique Thibault received the prestigious Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships Doctoral Award from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
