Congratulations to Professor Myles O’Brien on receiving a This study will investigate the relationship between frailty, sarcopenia, and osteoarthritis in older adults. The team will also study how factors such as exercise, vaccines, medicine, socialisation and diet affect these connections. By providing a deeper understanding of the relationship between frailty and musculoskeletal health, we could enhance treatments and prevent issues. This research could also lead to improved public health programs and personalized care. The team is made up of researchers from the University of Sherbrooke and Dalhousie University, including Mathieu Belanger, Carson Halliwell, Alexandra Legge, Said Mekari, Rebecca Moyer and Olga Theou.
