For recruitment purposes, Isadora Quirion presented her master’s project. The title of her project is “The role of a community-based physical activity programme for francophone minorities in New Brunswick: Can we adapt the brain through physical activity”. This presentation was made to more than 100 members of the Francophone community of Memramcook.
The IMPACTS Lab is a team of researchers, but also a team of people who enjoy having fun and being active. Recent social activities of the team brought members on a scavenger hunt through the city of Moncton, a hike out in nature and a game of Pickelball. Who says you can’t have fun while at work?
The IMPACTS lab was well represented at the CSEP 2022 conference. Our team offered six symposium and poster presentations on topics covering metabolism, rehabilitation and advances in physical activity epidemiology.
We are pleased to welcome three new members to the IMPACTS lab.
